    Why A Rainbow?
Being authentically yourself is core to the mission of Hester General Store.

We are LGBT+ business owners who care deeply about our community, working daily to create a space where folks like us and those who don't alike feel safe in our bakery & mercantile. A rainbow is not only a symbol of the LGBT+ population, but also representative of seemingly different colors coming together in a beautiful, awe-inspiring display. That resonates with the type of community we live in and support here in the Upstate of South Carolina.

We will be donating 20% of all proceeds visibly to Pride Link, a local organization that makes the lives of those in our local LGBT+ community better through a variety of community partnerships and initiatives, including the opening of South Carolina's first Queer Wellness Center in November 2021.
